1. PRODUCTS & PRICES
The products and prices are as listed on this website. We endeavour to describe all products as accurately as possible but if any further information is needed please contact us for clarification.
If you place an order on our website you agree to us collecting information that is needed to process your orders. We do not and will not sell or rent any of this confidential customer information to any third parties. Payments for website orders are processed by a secure system on on shopping cart. We have no access to and are unable to see, retain or store any of your payment details
From time to time we will notify you by email of new products etc. If at any time you do not wish to receive such emails you can unsubscribe by clicking on the link at the bottom of any such email and we will remove you from the list. Alternatively you can opt in or out by using the link on the shopping cart at the time you place an order.

4. DELIVERY OF ORDERS

Force Majeure – we are not liable for delays or non delivery caused by strikes or any other extra ordinary event which is beyond our control. TextileGarden is not responsible for delivery delays to orders sent to destinations outside the UK that are caused by the intervention of customer’s own Customs authorities. Such delays are outside our jurisdiction and control.
4.1 BREXIT – EU CUSTOMERS
With effect from 01 January 2021 the UK VAT will be removed from the shopping cart for orders received for deliveries to customers in the EU. Customer’s orders may be liable for VAT in their own location and this may or may not be levied by the authorities in their own jurisdiction. According to the agreement reached between the UK and the EU, duties (tariffs) will not be payable for materials of UK or EU origin.
Trade orders are delivered by courier and the couriers will arrange Customs clearance of the consignment electronically unless you have some other arrangement in place. Your local VAT will be due on the order and your courier may also levy a fee for undertaking the Customs clearance. EU trade customers should provide us with their EORI number so this, together with the VAT number, can be included on the invoice that accompanies the consignment which should help to facilitate the clearance procedures and delivery.
5. RETURNS, REFUNDS & CANCELLATION POLICY
Buttons, pins & fasteners
Customers may cancel their orders up to seven days from receipt of the item. We will issue a refund provided the item is returned to us intact in the original packaging. The correct postage must be applied to the package for items being returned. A standard first or second class stamp is not sufficient. If incorrect postage is applied the item will remain undelivered and will be held at the local post depot pending collection and the payment of a surcharge. We are not responsible for and do not undertake to recover any items from the post depot that have been returned with insufficient postage.
If an incorrect item is delivered we undertake to replace it at our cost immediately we are informed about the mistake. If there is insufficient stock available at the time to send a replacement a refund will be offered.
Trimmings, lace and other textile products
We do not accept cancellation of orders for trimmings, lace or any other textile product that has been cut to order from a larger roll or piece unless there is a fault with the product. If a customer is unsure about the fabric from the description and photographs they should request a sample which we will send free of charge.
For other fabric and textile orders customers may cancel their orders up to seven days from receipt of the item. We will issue a refund provided the item is returned to us intact in the original packaging. If there is insufficient stock available at the time to send a replacement a refund will be offered.
